Tito has worms...

So Emily, I took your advice and named this one for you! Today has been A DAY to say the least! First off, I am sorry I have been HORRIBLE about updating this thing. However, I have not had any time to add new pics of Miss Bailey. She has been VERY HIGH maintenance the past few weeks. Hopefully I'll add pics shortly...so stay tuned! (I'm also waiting for someone to help me with this whole blog thing to make mine more pretty and have slide shows, etc.

Anyway, so today is Saturday and Michael is on call. He won't be home until probably 1 or 2 tomorrow afternoon. We had an okay night...woke up at 4 am and didn't really go back to bed. When we did wake up I noticed Tito had something on his nose. It looked like a piece of rice. Well, I instantly knew what it was. TAPE WORMS! Ugh! Tito sleeps with us and I immediately pulled back the covers to discover that we had little worms all in our bed. How nice! I called Dr. Gaddis and he got us right into the vet. I had to throw Bailey in the car, Tito in the car, and get myself together. It's not easy taking care of a baby and a dog at the same time. When I finally got all of us in the car I noticed my gas light was on. At this point I almost threw up my hands and said, "I give up." However, I said a little prayer and God pulled me through.

We got to the vet and they had their annual yard sale! I said to myself, "Seriously, are you serious?" Everyone and their grandma was there. I had trouble parking and then I had to carry both Tito and Bailey in at the same time. The good news is that Tito got a shot that should take care of those nasty creatures and we made it home safely. I've had to wash the sheets, lint roll the bedspread and vacuum the entire house. If I knew this day would be like this, I probably would've never gotten up. However, I'm proud of myself for making it through and I was stronger today than I've ever had to be on my own...physically and emotionally.

The best part of today was getting to be with my friends Katie, Emily, Ashley and Worth...and his sister Kate. Thank goodness for friends...that's all I gotta say. We all watched the Georgia vs. LSU game at Ashley's house and got to chat and eat good food. Bailey was awesome! She was in my Baby Bjorn and loved it. She can now hold her head up so I turned her around to the front so she can see everything and she just loved it! Hopefully we'll have a nice and peaceful night with nothing too exciting. I'll try to get better at blogging!

Gotta go...baby is SCREAMING!
