Then and Now...Almost a Year Old!

My how time has flown by this year! I am not believing our baby girl will be "1" on Saturday! We have come a long way, that's for sure. We were off to a rough and rocky start, but thank goodness things have gotten A LOT easier. Bailey is healthy and thriving. I don't know what I ever did without her in my life as she is my whole world! I have gotten so sentimental reminiscing back...but that's what mom's are supposed to do, right? Michael and I are so fortunate and blessed to have Bailey Grace as our daughter. We are looking forward to this next year as she continues to grow and figure out this wild and crazy world! :)

New Swing!

It's hard to believe Bailey will turn "1" next Saturday! My parents...aka Mimi and Granddaddy, bought her this new swing set for her birthday. We went ahead and put it up so she could go ahead and get some good use out of it. She loves it!

She just threw up...guess I should've wait until her food settled a bit before she swung!

JCRMA Brunch & IM Spring Party

On Saturday we had a "Saturday Brunch" with JCRMA. We got together to talk about the upcoming year, eat and fellowship! There were 7 brand new babies there too...well 5 were really just "brand new". Our group has produced 20 babies from last May to this May. There's something in the water down here!!! I am so blessed to be part of such a great group of wonderful women!

Saturday night Michael and I attended UAB's Internal Medicine Spring Party. This is an annual event to say "good-bye" to the third year's, hand out awards, play skits, eat, drink and dance! Michael got recognized because he was awarded the VA Book Award. It was fun to get all dressed up and have a night out with friends. We were fortunate that Michael's parents came down to babysit Bailey so we could attend. It felt so good to actually be out by ourselves on a date!

Baby Wigton is here!!!

Sweet Caroline Anne Wigton was born yesterday on Cinco de Mayo! She was born at 3:16 pm and weighed 6 lbs, 14 oz. and 19 inches long. She is perfect! In case you don't know who this is, this is my best friend's baby, Katie! Thankfully her parents, sister, and Eric's mom got here just in time for her arrival. They are from St. Louis. She's a little diva already!

11 Months Old!

It's hard to believe that in one month our baby girl will be ONE!!! We are in the progress of planning her first birthday bash! The past couple of weeks we have gone on walks with Nicole and Lily and we've also had playdates with Robin and Anna. We are so happy summer time is here so we can get outside and play!
