The Easter Bunny came!

Today is Bailey's first Easter! We were not able to go to church today because Michael had to work...imagine that...and I'm a little under the weather. Bailey and I watched a little church this morning and had our own Easter service! She is aware that He is Risen! We did spoil her with an Easter basket, but she wasn't able to get into it until Daddy got home. She got some books, sippy cups, shoes, a stuffed animal, and pacifiers. That bunny sure knows what she likes!

Bailey and cousin Caroline. I'll have to blog about my sister's visit on another day. In short, we had a good time and were totally exhausted by the end of the week. Even the babies were exhausted! :)

Playing in the Park!

Today Michael and I took Bailey to Veteran's Park to swing! She had so much fun...so much fun that swinging her made her very drowsy! The kid also came out in Michael as he swung in the swing next to Bailey. :) We had a good time enjoying the warm weather and sunshine today.

Wee! Yes, she has a bruise on her head. It's been there for a week now and seems to keep getting darker and darker. Who knows!

9 1/2 month "sideways" pictures

So, for whatever reason my computer will not let me rotate the photos. I have tried everything! If anyone has a suggestion, I'm all ears! Anyway, these are supposed to be Bailey's 9 month pictures. We had them taken at Sear's. I've gotten her pictures taken at 3, 6, and 9 months. I plan on using a "professional" photographer for her one year pictures. She'll be 10 months tomorrow- crazy!

Gettin' So Big!

Tonight Bailey went with me to Girls Night Out at Dave's Pizza in Homewood. She was soooo good...which really surprised me. She was held by many of her "aunties", ate lots of Cheerios, and did some serious babbling. I told her not to get used to coming to GNO's with mommy because mommy needs a night out alone every once in a while! Michael is on cardiology night float this month so it's been just been Bailey and me hanging out 24/7. We're so ready for this awful month to be over with!!! We want daddy back!

After they played, Robin and I took them on a walk...they were both knocked out cold! So cute!

Last night Michael and I got to go on a "date" for the first time in MONTHS! Our friends, Todd and Robin, kept Bailey while we went to eat. Tonight, we kept their baby, Anna, so they could go eat. Bailey and Anna are four months apart and will eventually become great buddies! We're going to have date night once a month and we'll babysit for each other's little ones! It's about time...both couples desperately need time alone together!

9 Months Old

It's hard to believe that Bailey is already 9 months old! She is into everything and now has two teeth! Last week Bailey and I went to Paducah to spend time getting to know Caroline. She is such a good baby...all she does is sleep...and she NEVER cries! We had a great time at home relaxing and playing!

On the Move!

Miss Bailey is on the move these days! She is now crawling on all fours, pulling herself up, and doesn't sit still for a minute! Also, she has gotten a bottom tooth! It's amazing how quickly she's changing and progressing! (sorry for the sideways pictures...don't know what happened.)
